If the event is paid, show the price before signup or you will get cancellations.
Waitlist and cancellations
When seats are gone, a waitlist protects fill rate. The next person should be promoted automatically on cancel.
MeetBot already keeps waitlist and statuses on the event card.
After the meetup
Mark attendance. Over time you see who shows up consistently and who books then disappears - the base of a healthy community.

How many events should I publish at once?
At the start, 1-2 upcoming events are enough. An overloaded board converts worse.
